6 Main Reasons For Failure in Your MLM
Business
1.
Lack of commitment
When you start an MLM business it is important to realise that
you will only get out of the business what you put into it. By
simply "taking a spot" will not make you rich. You have to
schedule X no. of minutes a days to build your business daily,
weekly and yearly. In that time you need to be inviting,
following up and closing people into your business. These are
the only income producing activities that matter, everything
else is admin.
Many people worldwide enjoy 6 figure residual incomes from
network marketing but they had to work persistently and
consistently to build that income. They turned up to do their
business consistently and did not quit. The only person you can
blame if you fail in your MLM business opportunity is yourself,
so make yourself accountable TODAY! Look yourself in the mirror
constantly and ask yourself if your actions for the previous
week meant you deserve that 6 figure residual income that you
are striving towards. If the answer is NO, then you need to do
more.
You may need to discuss with your sponsor or upline how to best
move forward as they already will have a track record for
success. You should ensure you are plugged into the teams
network marketing training and support system by attending the
events that are laid on including meetings, webinars or
conference calls. If your upline leaders are turning up to put
on these events then you need to be there without a question of
doubt.
2.
Lack of patience
MLM is just like any other business in that it takes time to
learn your business and time to build your business. If you
talk to any millionaire or billionaire they will always tell
you that on their journey to their ultimate success, they had
many ups and downs. In almost every case, the fact that they
stuck at it through the highs and lows will be the reason why
they finally got to that success they set out to achieve.
Remember the easiest option is alway to quit!
3.
Having the wrong mindset
If you have the wrong mindset which is brought about by your
upbringing, the negative people you hang about with and toxic
beliefs that are instillled in you then you will FAIL. The good
news is that this is an area you can work to improve with
personal self development through books, seminars, online
videos and associating with positive like minded people.
4.
Choosing the wrong Company
My advise to anyone who is considering joining an MLM company
is to check them out thoroughly before you do anything. Don't
join a company on hype as you will regret it. The most
important factors you must consider are:
* Who are founders and the investors of the Company. Do they
have a track record for success and is the management team
strong enough to move the business forward. Are they truly pro
MLM? More often than not a corporate thinking management team
with no previous MLM experience will NEVER understand what it
takes to grow an MLM business and will constantly be creating
obstacles for the field.
* Is the companies product one which excites you and that you
can passionately talk to others about. If the answer is NO,
then your lack of belief will mean you will not share the
product or the opportunity with others. So you will FAIL!
* Does the company have a dynamic marketing website that will
help you duplicate your business and succeed. Would you buy
from the website if you were a new visitor? If the answer is
no, then how can you expect other people you send to the site
to buy.
* Does the company have in place the 3 key logistical
fundamentals for MLM success in place: - Deliver the product -
Take the customers money (Payment processes) - Pay the
distributors commissions
* Do the company have a good training, support and duplication
system in place?
5.
Choosing the wrong sponsor and upline support
team
When you do decide to join a company make sure you choose your
sponsor and team wisely. You want to make sure you have a
strong and experienced upline who already have a track record
for success that you can model.
So many times I speak to people who have previously been
involved in an MLM business opportunity and they never had any
access to their upline or once they joined, their sponsor
became very elusive. Find out who the upline support team is
and make sure you get their contact details and can reach
them.
6.
Lack of marketing skills
If you have never marketed a business before then this is one
of the skills you will need to learn to build a successful MLM
business. There are so many different ways to market your
business but you must find the way you feel most comfortable
with and that gets results for you. Remember this will not be
the same for every person.
Again this is where your upline support team leaders come in.
They will have already built a team so will have experienced
the different ways in which people have successfully marketed
their businesses. Speak with them and get ideas. This is where
company meeting events are great also because you will be able
to exchange ideas with other people in the team who have
experienced success. Word of warning though, be careful not to
take advice from people who have not had success but apparently
know all the answers ;0)
